The joys of Scholarly Research

Writing papers for scholarly review(grade) is a quintessential part of the college experience. Some may tremble at the thought of writing a paper, while to others it may come easy. Nevertheless whether difficult or easy , researching any given topic requires focus and thorough investigation. My experiences from my most recent research left me with a great sense of pride and inspiration. My topic was the African American Influence on American Politics, a topic which has personal ties because i aspire to become an attorney and ultimately venture into politics while being very involved in the church. From my research i concluded that the African American church is not only responsible for the dynamic accomplishments politically but socially as well. I started with exploring the role of the black church throughout history, finding that it was the foundation for the black political movement. Although seeking the information seemed similar to putting together pieces of a puzzle. The African American church veered away from the idea of separation of church and sate. It was a very rewarding topic to say the least i would love to see what further exploration on the topic would yield.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://jay-davis.blogspot.com/2011/12/ahh-joys-of-scholarly-research.html' title='AHH!!! This idea of the road to success would possibly place fear in thee hearts of some and may very well discourage the idea of even attempting to be successful. I on the other hand see all the obstacles as motivation and learning tools. If the vigorous road to success is so hard fought and treacherous, the key to traveling and defeating these obstacles would be patience and preparation as well as a support system that would warn you if u veered a little too far to the left or right , keeping you in the middle of the road , driving forward and not looking back. Thats why i am who i am today Jonnedrian "jay" Davis , a senior political science major pre-law at the greatest school in the world THE University of Southern Mississippi ....SMTTT. I have yet to reach the middle of my road to success let alone the end , but when success finds me or i find it (which ever comes first ) I WILL BE READY!
